Summer Bishil is an American actress who is best known for her performance as Margo Hanson in the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). In the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her as Jasira Maoun, who is a Lebanese American teenage girl who has to face a range of personal concerns in relation with the U.S. invaders of Iraq. She was later named one of Variety's Top 10 Actors of 2007 was also a great recognition. She also played a powerful role in 2009's crime drama Crossing Over. For this the role, she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award under the category of Female Lead. The actress also appeared as co-lead in films such as The Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of television guest parts.
